Preparation for the Next Class:

Case Prep:  Cisco Systems Inc.: Managing Corporate Growth Using an Intranet.  You may answer the following questions in your case analysis:
  1. Who does CEC intend to serve?  What info do they need the most?  How was that info delivered offline prior to CEC?
  2. How well has CEC done to replace the offline info delivery?  To what extent do you feel people would opt to use the Web rather than the old channel to find info, or vice versa?
  3. Can you think of other categories to be included in CEC?  (Criteria: help satisfy employees' needs, and save company's resources.)
  4. The same logic may be applied to all other Web site development, in Intranet, Extranet, or Internet.  Please analyze the current USF site, or the site you try to build or improve for your team project.
