Welcome to the Web site for USF EMBA 741 E-Business Trends .

Classes meet on Friday or Saturday 8:00 am in MC 150

Valuation, Chapter 8: valuation of real options is optional (and not very real), you may skip 307-313.

Dale Smith's slides are here (version for SVRT).

Clarification on assignments:

Trend Scan 2 is due on 5/05 and will be discussed on 5/12.

Implementation and Metrics: separate paper is optional, cover in your final report.

Valuation is an optional topic for your final reports. It is not clear to me that anything meaningful can be said about valuation for your projects.

Presentation schedule: team 1, 3, 5 on 5/11 and teams 2, 4 on 5/12.

Stuart Marcoon's slides are here.

Your trends and project papers (that I have on disk) are online in Student Info. All links are Word documents, the listing you see is what you provided in the Word Title field (File, Properties, Summary Tab).

Trend Summaries and Scans should have headlines that summarize the main point in your own words. This is in addition to citing articles.

Steve Winingham of the USPS will be our guest speaker on 4/21. Steve is managing an e-commerce project serving 40,000 locations. For background see Why the E-mail Explosion Has Yet to Leave Snail Mail in the Dust.

Psychographics and VALS are described on the SRI Web site: http://future.sri.com/vals/VALSindex.shtml. This includes a survey you can take to determine your profile.

Check this page for notes and information. Thank you.
