Chuck is a new venture consultant and teacher with clients in North America, Europe, and Asia. He has an extensive background in telecommunications and has worked with financial services companies, systems integrators, software companies, and computer vendors. He has owned his own business; worked as a manager in small businesses and large multinational corporations; and helped to start companies as an entrepreneur, angel investor and advisor.

Consulting 

His consulting experience includes:

Business planning for e-business startups.
Legacy application evaluation and migration planning for a major American telephone company.
Consulting to telecom carriers, paging companies, and computer vendors in Japan.
Negotiating international software distribution agreements.
Reengineering the DDI billing system to support new products including Friends & Family, WATS, and VPN.
Designing billing, customer care, and network applications for Sprint, US West, SNET, and Motorola.
Systems Architect for an Electronic Funds Transfer software package used by major money center banks.

Teaching 

Since 1999 Chuck has been an Adjunct Professor and Director of E-Business Curriculum Development at the University of San Francisco (see classes) and in 2003 he joined the faculty of the USF New Venture Center. Chuck has also given a number of other seminars and lectures:

Seminars on Online Brokerage and eBay for visiting managers from Korea.
Billing System Selection and Justification Workshop at IIR Billing Systems Conference in London.
Billing System Selection and Justification Tutorial at IIR's Billing and Customer Care conference in Miami.
